Finally got around of booking my next destination, as I previously mentioned before but now finally booked. I am heading to Oregon. This will be both a photography trip and also a chance for me to see my cousin who I haven’t seen in over 15 years. I am really excited about this trip. Combining two great things in one will be a great experience. Thank you to all of you that told me about all great places to visit while I be there. I simply love what Tom Post replied “You can literally throw a dart at the map and get good pictures where ever it hits” this definitely gets me excited about the trip. I am leaving for 16 days, hopefully this will be enough for me to capture a few stunners…which I am positive I will. Upon my return the Autumn colours should be in full bloom here in Quebec so the timing will be perfect for me to capture this incredible season we are fortunate enough to witness every year.

Everyday we are bombarded by reasons why we should not do what our heart tell us. Reasons like, it will never work, there is no money to be made in that field, it will be very difficult etc. Most of the time we are being told what we should and shouldn’t do by people who have never followed their dreams and passion and are now simply wishing they had done more to make it happen. These are merely words with no foundation brought to you by people with no passion. You need to believe in everything your heart desire. If you don’t nobody will that’s for sure. You need to make sure that everyday you take a step however small it may be towards your goals. Always stay focus even when times are hard. When fear takes over, don’t worry about it ..this is a transition stage between your so call zone of comfort and your new life..keep pushing harder and don’t let that discourage you. Fear of the unknown is one of our greatest enemy and it has the power to make us believe a hundred fictional reasons why it will never work. Always Stay focus on the end result and visualize your new life with the finest details. If you have the strength to go through this transition you will have a million reasons to celebrate a life that will finally make you feel ALIVE!! You definitely won’t be someone talking about how great things will be when you retire, Why retire when you do something you love. Life is made to be lived now not in 10-20-30-40 years from now, think about that for a second

I should head to Oregon at the beginning of September for 2 weeks and I know this is an incredible State to visit specially when you are a landscape photographer..opportunities are simply everywhere but I am still wondering if any of you have any suggestions or have any secret places that are not that known that is worth capturing. From what I have been told this is what people call God’s Country..well I am about to set foot in God’s Country and hoping he will show up to give me the light I need.
