Workshops & Consultations

Join Ken KamineskyElia Locardi and myself on a photography tour as we explore the rugged beauty and natural wonder of Iceland.

There is truly no place on Earth like Iceland. Being there in person and exploring its many diverse landscapes honestly feels like you’re exploring some distant alien world. Over and over again during my visits there, the word that I couldn’t stop repeating was “WOW”. With its countless waterfalls, rugged mountainscapes, wind swept valleys, fields of moss-covered lava rock, glacial lagoons and black sand beaches–Iceland is truly a landscape photographer’s paradise.

On this 7 day educational photography tour we will lead you from the beautiful capital city of Reykjavík to the volcanic Snæfellsjökull National Park, see a different view on a sailing tour in Western Iceland, witness the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón and much, much more. Iceland is known for its multitude of incredibly diverse waterfalls and we will explore and photograph many of them throughout the tour.

September offers long 15 hour days, giving us plenty of daylight to capture Iceland’s wild and diverse landscapes. This time of year the waterfalls are still flowing strong and, if we’re lucky, we may have the chance to see some amazing solar storm activity (a.k.a. Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights). Throughout the trip, you’ll receive hands-on group and individual photo education. For those interested in post-processing instruction, we suggest you bring a laptop.
